Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows for
storage provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management
Automate day-to-day operational activities, including: Provisioning (LUNs,
volumes, file systems) Snapshot and replication management Backup and restore
workflows Health checks and reporting Integrate storage platforms with
automation frameworks and orchestration tools Collaborate with infrastructure,
cloud, and application teams to standardize and optimize processes Develop
scripts and tools to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency
Ensure automation solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise
standards Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance
optimization activities Maintain documentation for automation frameworks,
runbooks, and best practices ##LI-DNI
Qualifications
Technical Skills & Platform Expertise Candidate should have good working
knowledge in at least one of the following domains: 1. Block Storage Dell
PowerMax (PMAX 8000 / 8500 models) Cisco MDS SAN switches (97xx / 93xx series)
Concepts: SAN zoning, masking, LUN provisioning Replication technologies (SRDF)
Performance tuning and troubleshooting 2. File Storage NetApp AFF platforms (A90
/ A700) Concepts: NFS, SMB/CIFS protocols Snapshots, SnapMirror Capacity and
performance management 3. Backup & Data Protection Dell Data Domain (DD9910)
Commvault Concepts: Backup policies and workflows Replication and disaster
recovery Restore validation and optimization Automation & Scripting Skills
(Mandatory) Strong scripting experience in: Python / Shell scripting /
PowerShell Experience with: REST APIs and automation integration
Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform / Ansible preferred) Ability to build
reusable automation frameworks and workflows Required Experience 48 years of
experience in enterprise storage environments Proven experience in automation of
storage operations Exposure to hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud) is a plus
Experience working in production support and engineering roles Key Competencies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and
drive automation initiatives Good collaboration and communication skills Focus
on operational excellence and continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to AIOps / observability tools Experience integrating storage with
