VAT Compliance Manager (f/m/d)

Join Axpo Services EMEA and help shape reliable, future-ready VAT compliance
processes across Europe. You’ll work in an international environment where
collaboration, continuous improvement and smart digital solutions matter.

What you will do:

* Establish a solid in-house VAT compliance process

* Oversee and coordinate day-to-day VAT compliance activities across multiple
European jurisdictions

* Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
and indirect tax filings

* Collaborate closely with Accounting, Treasury and other internal stakeholders
on VAT-related matters

* Translate complex VAT requirements into practical processes, controls and
system improvements

* Drive automation, digital reporting and VAT technology initiatives such as
e-invoicing and real-time reporting

* Support VAT audits, inspections and tax authority requests while identifying
and mitigating VAT risks



What you bring & who you are:

* Several years (3-5) of experience in VAT compliance, ideally within an
international accounting firm or an in-house tax environment

* Strong knowledge of VAT reporting processes and ERP systems, especially SAP;
experience with BC365 is a plus

* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting and
transactional data

* Structured and analytical approach with the ability to simplify complex
topics and communicate clearly

* Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional
teamwork skills

* Fluent English skills; ideally, you also speak German or another European
language
