The Position Are you ready to shape the future of digital operations and drive a shift from reactive firefighting to proactive engineering? As our Technical Product Owner for Application Observability, you will own the development, delivery, and support of global observability product capabilities. In this role, you will make critical technical decisions across multiple product lines, remove technical impediments, and partner with key external service providers to create seamless collaboration efficiencies. Working closely with global software development teams, you will drive Agile ceremonies, optimize DevOps processes, and ensure our scalable observability platforms empower developers, accelerate velocity, and minimize system downtime across the entire value chain. Your Responsibilities Lead Product Capability: Own the end-to-end development, delivery, and lifecycle management of the Application Observability. Drive Agile & DevOps Excellence: Lead Agile ceremonies, manage the product backlog, and optimize DevOps infrastructure processes to continuously enhance delivery efficiency. Collaborate and Manage Stakeholders: Build strong partnerships across cross-functional boundaries, including senior management, global teams, and external vendor partners. Champion Scalable Architecture: Support study designs and infrastructure setup by implementing sustainable, secure, and cost-effective observability frameworks. Navigate Quality and Standards: Ensure all implemented software delivery and IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions comply with quality, security, and regulatory standards, proactively leading audit preparation and business continuity plans. Mentor and Influence: Guide and mentor geo-distributed, virtual teams through technical influence, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence. Who You Are You are a delivery-focused technical leader with an enterprise mindset who excels at breaking down operational silos and bringing diverse teams together around a shared purpose. You couple deep technical curiosity with an analytical approach to solving complex infrastructure challenges. To be successful in this role, you bring: Extensive Technical Delivery Expertise: 7+ years of experience in technical delivery, software development, product/service management, or infrastructure engineering. Regulated Industry Background: 2+ years of experience working within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a regulated healthcare technology environment. Deep Observability Domain Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with market-leading observability offerings and architecture, with hands-on expertise in platforms like Grafana Cloud and Datadog highly appreciated. Agile and Technical Leadership: Proven experience managing requirements in tools like Jira and Confluence, combined with a track record of mentoring geo-distributed teams through influence. Strategic Problem Solving: Strong capability to transform complex customer needs into actionable requirements, manage ITSM processes, and apply innovative DevOps solutions sustainably.
