Description
Summary: Strengthen raw material control and ensure incoming material is verified, tracked, and made available to production efficiently. Reduce interruptions, improve accountability, and support on-time delivery.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Receiving & Verification
Handle raw material receiving, including physical counts and dimensional verification.
Examine shipment contents against manifests, bills of lading, invoices, or purchase orders.
Record shipment data in ERP system.
Inventory Control & Material Flow
Support raw material issuing and coordination to production.
Assist with outside service material tracking and counts.
Participate in perpetual cycle counting activities.
Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records.
Documentation & Compliance
Enter and maintain material certifications.
Electronically file purchase orders, packing slips, freight documentation, and inspection records.
Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Operational Support
Provide backup coverage to Inventory Control Coordinator and assist departments during peak workload periods.
Support daily operational needs as required. I.E. material handling.
Assist with sorting, rework, or other support tasks to maintain flow.
Safety & Organization
Follow all safety regulations and work expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Frequently exposed to climate-controlled office environment with low level of noise. Occasional time spent on the production floor, subject to loud noise and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, one to three years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both.

Effective written and oral communication
