Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation (m/f/x)

Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the Assets Ops product with the osapiens HUB platform. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated testing strategies, working closely with development teams to drive a culture of quality from the ground up. End-to-end testing for web applications, including frontend, backend, and integration testing, as well as mobile application testing.
You will gain experience in designing and implementing end-to-end test frameworks for native mobile applications.
Hands-on experience working with different testing frameworks and tools.
In this role, you will:
Analyze, define, and implement quality and testing strategies in alignment with product development.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites, covering end-to-end (E2E) and API testing.
Serve as a subject matter expert on quality assurance processes, tools, and best practices.
Ensure that test documentation and reporting are clear, accurate, and actionable for development teams.
This role is based in Madrid, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, offering the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.
Your Responsibilities
Test the products applying diverse testing techniques to uncover bugs
Report bugs and follow up their resolution
Develop new and maintain the existing automated end-to-end and API tests
Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Provide the developers and business representatives with fast feedback regarding the current state of the product
Assist and help the developers in investigating issues
Your Experience
Good understanding of the testing domain
Minimum of 4 years of experience in testing web-based applications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation development using JavaScript / Typescript - preferably using Playwright
Good understanding of JavaScript / Typescript
Hands on experience in both end-to-end and API testing and test automation
Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure Devops is preferred)
