Description
Bay State Community Services is looking for a parent/caregiver who is passionate about helping other parents to strengthen the family bond, assist with understanding early childhood development, and improve the child and family health and wellbeing.
$2,000 BONUS available to individuals who have completed the certification for Parenting as Teachers (PAT) Evidence Based Practice.
For candidates who have not completed the certification BSCS will cover all costs of the PAT certification.
What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
Meet with families in the home and provide parenting education and support, focusing on child development, early learning, and family well-being.
Develop a plan with the family to address their needs.
Offer groups and workshops for parents on topics, including child development, positive discipline, and family health.
Be part of a team with community providers and organizations who care for families.

Requirements
Qualifications/Credentials
High School Diploma/GED or above required
Lived experience in parenting is required
Certification in PAT is preferred but not required
