In a nutshell
As a Talent Engagement Intern, you will support the development and engagement of Supply Chain employees by helping to identify future skill needs, develop training pathways, and support learning and engagement initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders to better understand the shopfloor environment and contribute to building a future‑ready workforce.

Your team and your responsibilities

You will be part of Operations Excellence Division, Health, Safety & Talent Engagement department.

Your project
You will drive the member development strategy for supply chain
Development roadmap creation ensuring members are ready for the future
Execute industry benchmarking & seek good practice within Toyota
Research emerging trends in Supply Chain (automation, sustainability, digitalization, resilience)
Map skills against future business needs
Develop the methodology to assess member development needs, deploy trainings and evaluate progress
You will be able to work together X-functionally to broaden your knowledge and experience
Your Profile
You are fluent in English (TME business language); Dutch is a plus.
You are currently enrolled in a Master’s programme related to HR or Learning & Development.
You have an EEA or Swiss citizenship.
You are familiar with contributing to a Learning & Development strategy.
You have strong analytical skills and are able to identify skill gaps.
You can assess and reconfirm competencies against benchmarks and future skill needs.
You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in presentations.
You are comfortable using MS Office and can create structured, high-quality materials.
You work independently, manage multiple tasks, and show perseverance.
You have a proactive mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
You are a flexible team player with an open mindset and willingness to learn.

1st of August 2026

6 months, in Diest (Belgium)
Confidentiality
Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium).
