Description
Responsible for the fabrication of various parts according to engineering specifications and insure that all necessary parts are accounted for and properly staged for the next operation.
The employee must be able to set up and operate different machines including N.C. controlled punch presses, laser, debur machine, occasional shear and other assigned machines in a safety and quality driven manner.
Must be able to see and hear adequately to respond to auditory and visual requests.
Minimize downtime of the fabricating equipment by assisting with change overs of equipment by moving tables, materials, etc. Read work orders and prints.
Load and unload the parts into the machines and equipment.
Perform quality checks and appearance checks of the finished unit or part.
Responsible for insuring all test procedures are being performed and insure part is made properly, according to engineering requirements.
Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Ability to utilize computers/bar-coding to track parts, routings, job orders, and pick lists.
Ability to communicate with all plant personnel.
Ability to do basic math and complete necessary paperwork.
Ability to read work orders prints and assembly instructions.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, Bend, stoop, twist, walk, stand for extended periods of time
