Job Description
From AECOM EC Europe we are looking for a Junior Engineer to work in RAMS (RAM and Safety Management).
We need to expand our team in terms of Systems Assurance, a transversal discipline that has a global vision of the projects, understanding the life cycle of a system and coordinating the necessary processes to define the requirements management strategy effectively.
From the SESA team of AECOM EC Europe, we work to give consistency and quality to the projects that our fellow designers develop. We manage, from a technical point of view, what the customer's needs are and how all the established requirements can be managed to give integrity, safety, reliability and consistency to each project. Our mission is to support the projects, both technically and at a management level, to ensure traceability between the parties reaching the final goal required by our clients, interconnecting the stakeholders and collaborating in the reduction of inconsistencies and rework.
Team description: Within AECOM EC Europe, our team focuses on Systems Engineering & Systems Assurance, as part of the Rail Systems department. We work on large international projects, developing the design in environments ranging from stations, railway lines, airports, technical buildings, metros, trams and much more.
Tasks description:
The candidate will work together with the RAMS team to develop key documents for RAM such as; “RAM Plan”, "FMECAs" and "RBDs" and for SAFETY such us; "Safety Plan", "PHA", "SHA", "IHA", "HL", "Safety Case", and "SIL Demonstration" and others.
The candidate will develop capabilities of the tasks associated to RAMS management, a discipline that helps on the global integration of the projects, providing strong levels of Safety, Reliability and Availability.
The RAMS Management team must establish strategies, identify needs and coordinate their management throughout the life cycle of each project, working together with the rest of the SESA disciplines (Requirements, Interfaces Management, System Architecture, Human factors, etc.) and the design team.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Basic knowledge of rail systems (Power, Catenary, MEP, track, substations, etc.) and civils will be taken into consideration
Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt to different types of projects
Adaptability to collaborate in multicultural teams
High level of English, spoken and written
Qualifications: Bsc. /Msc. Industrial Engineer, Civil Engineer or similar.
