Job Description
We are seeking a professional and empathetic Assistant Guest Relations Manager to join our hospitality team in Marsa Alam, Egypt. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional support and ensuring memorable experiences. As a bilingual professional fluent in German and French, you will bridge communication gaps and deliver personalized service to our diverse international clientele. This position combines guest relations expertise with administrative support, requiring someone who is organized, efficient, and genuinely passionate about guest satisfaction.
Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in German and French, providing timely and effective solutions
Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly
Maintain detailed guest records and documentation using property management systems
Assist in organizing guest activities, excursions, and special events
Provide cultural orientation and local information to international guests
Handle guest complaints with empathy and professionalism, working toward satisfactory resolutions
Support the Guest Relations Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, and correspondence
Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards
Contribute to a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty and positive reviews
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall guest satisfaction objectives
Qualifications
Fluent proficiency in German and French (written and verbal); English proficiency required
Proven experience in guest relations, customer service, or hospitality industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly
Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse guest backgrounds
Proficiency with guest management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor with a friendly and empathetic approach
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
Preferred: Previous experience in a resort or hotel setting
Preferred: Experience with multilingual guest services
