We are looking for a Director of Consumer Insight & Sensory to shape the strategic consumer and sensory agenda across Latin America. This role transforms consumer understanding, sensory expertise and market intelligence into growth opportunities, influencing innovation, customer partnerships and business decisions across flavors, ingredients and product experiences. Your main responsibilities:
Lead the Consumer Insight and Sensory strategy for Latin America, becoming the go-to strategic partner for CSI across the region and defining the learning agenda across key markets, categories, customers and growth priorities.
Translate consumer intelligence, sensory science, market dynamics and statistical evidence into clear strategic recommendations, influencing innovation, renovation, product design, claims, portfolio choices and customer engagement at local, regional and global levels.
Elevate CSI through digital, AI-driven and statistically robust approaches, developing agile research models, predictive tools, dashboards and scalable insight platforms that improve decision speed, innovation quality and business impact.
Act as a critical business advisor to Marketing, Business Development, Commercial, Creation, Application, Science & Technology and senior leadership, challenging assumptions, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring that consumer and sensory evidence shapes business decisions.
Inspire and connect with global CSI teams, bringing external inspiration, new methodologies and best practices into the region while also scaling Latin American initiatives, capabilities and success stories across the global organization.
Build, coach and develop a multicultural high-performing team of managers across different countries, strengthening strategic thinking, technical excellence, statistical rigor, storytelling, stakeholder influence and a proactive, business-oriented mindset.

You Bring:
Solid experience in Consumer Insights and/or Sensory Analysis, preferably within the flavors, fragrances, or food ingredients industry (mandatory).
Fluency in English and Spanish to interact with global and regional teams (mandatory).
Knowledge of consumer research methodologies, statistical analysis (Xlstat, R, CompuSense, FIZZ, etc.), and sensory analysis techniques.
Experience leading multicultural teams and the ability to develop talent across different levels of seniority.
Hands-on, resilient, and collaborative profile, with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically, while also executing when necessary.
Strong influencing and communication skills to present findings and defend recommendations with internal stakeholders and clients.
