CNC Programmer, MFG - 11th Ave, Jasper, IN

The CNC Technician is responsible for creation of programs for CNC equipment.

* Investigates and recommends changes to shop floor production processes
involving CNC equipment.
* Follow engineering specifications.
* Coach machine operators in the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
* Serve as a liaison with maintenance, engineering, support staff and operators
to ensure equipment is best utilized.
* Document necessary information.
* Keep work space and equipment clean and well organized.
* Recommend/approve/make changes to improve efficiencies and equipment
utilization.
* Identify training opportunities within the team and set actions for
improvement.
* Able to use required CAD systems (AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, Solid Edge)
* Ability to use manual wood working machinery (table/band saw, router, drills,
sanders, etc)

Experience

* Two years CAD/CAM experience preferred
* One year 3D modeling experience preferred

Qualifications
* Must have knowledge of computer aided design and manufacturing software
* Must have superior computer programing skills
* Must have ability to write and read complex drawings
* Must have ability to read blueprints
* Must be highly detail oriented 
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment (experience in a manufacturing
environment is needed)
* Must have good mathematical skills
* Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
* Must be detail oriented, and self motivated
