Are you as excited as we are when we talk about the storage and distribution of
bulk liquids at our state-of-the-art tank containers and terminals in key
markets? Join us as an Asset Manager.  

In this role, you will take full responsibility for all technical assets at the
terminal, leading the technical team and owning the portfolio of CAPEX projects
executed by various project managers. You will work closely with the global
asset management function to develop and improve standards and procedures, while
also being accountable for the 5-year maintenance plan and the related
sustaining CAPEX. You will ensure that both corrective and preventive
maintenance are executed in line with this plan and that the local Asset
Management Plan is effectively implemented. As part of the terminal management
team, you will act as the primary point of contact for all technical matters,
driving safe, efficient, and compliant terminal operations.

What you will be doing

As Asset Manager, you will oversee the complete lifecycle management of the
terminal’s technical assets, ensuring that equipment, systems, and
infrastructure are maintained, improved, and operated safely and efficiently.
You will lead and develop the asset management department, working closely with
the People Team to build the right competencies and skill sets within the team,
while collaborating daily with operations, engineering, procurement, SHEQ and
other local and global stakeholders. A key part of your day-to-day work will be
preparing, maintaining, and executing the Asset Management Plan, including the
5-year maintenance plan and associated OPEX and CAPEX budgets, and managing a
portfolio of CAPEX projects carried out by the engineering and asset management
teams. You will use the Maintenance Management System to manage workflows,
scheduling, and documentation, and you will participate in daily and weekly
planning meetings to align maintenance and project activities with operational
needs. You will also organize and prepare Asset Management Steering Committee
meetings, report on maintenance and project KPIs, and contribute to global work
groups to improve asset management standards and policies. Throughout all
activities, you will ensure strict compliance with legislative and SHEQ
requirements, create a safe and efficient working environment for maintenance
and project execution, and investigate or support the investigation of technical
incidents, near misses, and risks.  


Key responsibilities

* Lead the Asset Management department, developing team competencies with the
People Team and ensuring all roles in the Asset Management Plan are in place.
* Own the effective management of all technical assets, including maintenance
strategies, mechanical integrity programs, spare parts and contractor
policies, project management approach, and the 5‑year OPEX/CAPEX maintenance
plan.
* Organize the Asset Management Steering Committee and provide regular KPI
reporting on maintenance and CAPEX project performance.
* Optimize and maintain the Maintenance Management System for accurate
documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow planning and
scheduling.
* Collaborate with operations and other functions through daily/weekly planning
meetings and engage with local/global stakeholders to align on standards and
improve asset management procedures.
* Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of maintenance and project
activities; support investigations of incidents, near misses, and risks, and
recommend updates to SHEQ and organizational procedures.


Qualifications

* Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or similar; Certifications such as
PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, CRE are a plus.  
* Experience within a storage terminal or chemical process environment is a
plus.  
* Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience (depending on terminal size and
complexity) in a technical environment, with some years in a leadership
position.
* Experience in managing small CAPEX projects and/or leading a Maintenance &
Repair (M&R) function in a complex facility.  
* Demonstrated capability for training employees, facilitating meetings and
events, and preparing written reports, presentations, and project updates
within the facility.  
* Promoter of innovation with proven courage and adaptability, making process
improvements and stimulating and managing knowledge sharing within the team
and with partner functions at the location.  
* Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management at various levels.  

 

Specific skills

* Must be fluent in written and spoken English and the local language of the
terminal.  
* Systematic, result driven, team player, customer focused, and analytical;
Strong communication skills and takes a proactive approach.  
* Proven ability to influence results with peers, management teams, and
non-direct reports.  
* Willingness and ability to learn technical details.  
* Personal drive and commitment for M&R processes and strategies according to
location complexity.  
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other tools as needed
for the field of activities.
